Applications are invited from suitable candidates for temporary positions of Laboratory Technologists and Laboratory Technologist Interns in the Medical Laboratory Services Program at Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology, Thiruvananthapuram.
1.Laboratory Technologist
BSc-MLT/ DMLT approved by the Directorate of Medical Education or equivalent.
BSc-MLT/ DMLT approved by the Directorate of Medical Education or equivalent.
Minimum of three years experience in a well equipped clinical laboratory with 'hands on' expertise in operating, calibrating and maintaining modern clinical analyzers.
Adequate knowledge of medical biochemistry, hematology, clinical pathology and medical microbiology.
Knowledge of Laboratory Information Systems (LIS).
Knowledge of quality assurance protocols and management procedures as prescribed by NABL and NABH.
2.Laboratory Technologist Intern
BSc-MLT/ DMLT approved by the Directorate of Medical Education or equivalent
BSc-MLT/ DMLT approved by the Directorate of Medical Education or equivalent
Adequate knowledge of medical biochemistry, hematology, clinical pathology and medical microbiology.
MAXIMUM AGE LIMIT:35 years as on August 20, 2020. Age relaxation will be given as per RGCB Rules.
EMOLUMENTS: As per RGCB norms for Institute Project Staff.
