Job Description

Job vacancies is for authorised laptop service centre in Kasaragod Kerala. Your role will be for attending the customer then know the issue with product and initiate repair procedures as per brand service protocol. You will be provided with brand product training and you have to clear certification of brand. In this job you will be provided with incentives, performance appraisal and brand certifications.

Key Responsibilities

1. Customer Interaction and Issue Diagnosis

  • Greet customers professionally and attentively to understand their laptop issues.

  • Collect detailed information about product problems through effective questioning and testing.

  • Perform initial diagnostics using provided tools and software to identify hardware or software faults.

  • Explain repair procedures, timelines, and possible costs clearly to customers.

  • Maintain positive customer relationships by delivering courteous, transparent, and efficient service.

2. Repair and Maintenance

  • Follow brand-specific repair protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to troubleshoot and fix laptop hardware and software problems.

  • Repair or replace faulty components including screens, keyboards, batteries, motherboards, hard drives, memory modules, and other peripherals.

  • Perform virus removal, operating system installation, and software troubleshooting as needed.

  • Test repaired laptops thoroughly to ensure full functionality before returning to customers.

  • Document all repairs accurately in service records and update customer databases.

3. Brand Product Training and Certification

  • Attend mandatory training sessions provided by the brand to gain in-depth technical knowledge.

  • Prepare for and successfully clear brand certification exams, demonstrating proficiency in repair standards.

  • Stay updated on new products, repair techniques, and industry trends through continuous learning.

  • Maintain certification status as required by the brand for ongoing employment and service authorization.

4. Quality Assurance and Compliance

  • Ensure all repair work meets brand quality standards and safety regulations.

  • Adhere strictly to warranty guidelines and service terms while handling customer products.

  • Manage replacement parts inventory responsibly, ensuring genuine parts are used.

  • Report any defective or counterfeit parts to supervisors immediately.

  • Follow company policies regarding data privacy and customer confidentiality.

5. Performance Monitoring and Incentives

  • Participate actively in performance reviews and appraisals conducted by supervisors.

  • Meet or exceed established targets for repair turnaround time, customer satisfaction, and quality metrics.

  • Earn incentives based on performance, accuracy, and customer feedback.

  • Collaborate with team members to improve service processes and enhance customer experience.

Skills and Qualifications

Technical Skills

  • Strong understanding of laptop hardware components and common issues.

  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing both hardware and software faults.

  • Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows, macOS, and Linux.

  • Ability to use diagnostic tools, repair software, and service manuals effectively.

  • Basic networking knowledge is a plus.
