Laser Operator
Job Description
Inspect machined parts as per drawing and quality standards (using instruments like Vernier, micrometer, bore gauge, height gauge, etc.).

Carry out in-process, final, and incoming inspection of components.

Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T symbols, and machining symbols.

Identify non-conformities and raise NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports).

Maintain inspection records and documentation as per ISO / internal QMS.
-
Support production team to minimize rework and rejection.

Conduct root cause analysis for defects and recommend corrective actions.
-
Coordinate with the production, design, and planning teams to resolve quality issues.

Calibration and maintenance of measuring instruments and gauges.
-
Assist in preparing quality reports, PPAP, and other customer-required documents.
-
Ensure housekeeping & 5S in QC area.
Read and understand technical drawings, CAD files, or CNC program layouts.

Translate design specifications into machine parameters (power, speed, gas pressure, etc.).
-
Ensure part accuracy, dimensions, and tolerances are achieved as per job orders.
