Job Description
- Work involves End-to-End test responsibilities of Test Automation: Specify and execute test cases based on analyzed requirements and overall test strategy, to ensure that software application complies with implicit and explicit requirements Analyzing the Requirements from the client & Preparing Test Scenarios
- Good understanding of Object oriented programming concepts which can be applied for developing and enhancing the TestFramework. Understand and enhance the existing Test Framework for new requirements without impact for existing Tests.
- Preparation and execution of Automated Test Cases for module, integration testing, Test Data for Test cases Leading group of team members for testing deliverables & Caching & guiding team members & product team on Quality importance Provides Key improvements on Product Quality and process improvements based on Test results. Support manual and Test automation strategy.
- Ensures to monitor and controls the quality parameters of overall product and Test metrics. Defines the Bug tracking process and ensures the same is adhered by self and team.
- Report errors in bug tracking tool and track the issues to closure incl. support of defect investigation, validate defect fixes and analyze impact of fixes.
- Create test reports including defect logging and test result logging, defect analysis, RCA, summary reports.
- Also ensures timely closure of Bugs in different stages for the product. Work also involves interaction with business partners, Product managements and Project managers Able to bring right decision w.r.t. FPEG decisions from Test perspective.
- Takes complete ownership of multiple Test types (IT, PT, ST, NFR) for ensuring End-to-End Delivery with good quality at end of each sprint, FC and Release. What do I need to qualify for this job? B.E. / B.Tech / MCA/ M. Tech (Computer Science/Electronics & Communication/Electrical)
- Exp – 8 to 11 Yrs Expertise in testing knowledge/skills (manual & Automation) Leading Team for Testing deliverables, Programing Exp on C#.NET
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills (able to analyze software requirements) Knowledge of test techniques, test scenarios generations, estimations, experience in test specification preparation
- Test strategy for all kinds of testing (Functional, NFR , Security) Self-motivated, quick learner, with good verbal and written communication Experience in Visual Studio 2012/2015 Developing tool & Programming using C#, C++, JavaScript is an added advantage Knowledge of Test tools – TMS, Perf Analyzers, etc. Make your mark in our exciting world at Siemens This role is based in Bangalore.
