Responsibilities :

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting Oracle, SQL and Sybase databases. This position will monitor and improve delivery execution, reporting, and communication standards
Working experience on Sybase latest.
In this role, the resource will be responsible for rapid simulation and understanding of existing applications and technical environment, to convert business requirements into detailed functional requirements and crafting into a functional specifications' document. And also to take responsibility and ownership of components/processes within the team.
Experience in SQL/Sybase DB patching of different CU release.
Must have experience in setup and troubleshooting of Log shipping, SQL replication.
Required knowledge on performance tuning optimization.
Experience in Sybase/SQL upgrade/migration from different version.
Good interpersonal skills, and be able to explain complex IT problems in a simple business like terminology for ease of user's understanding
Query optimization/performance trouble shooting with developer would be added advantage.
React quickly, lead and perform extraordinarily during critical/catastrophic events
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, related fields or equivalent professional experience
