Job Description

1. Identify and research potential leads online
2. Reach out to prospects via email, phone, and social media
3. Maintain lead records and update the database
4. Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead Generation:

    • Identify potential customers or leads through a variety of channels, including cold calls, email campaigns, social media, networking events, and online research.

    • Utilize lead generation tools and platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, CRM software, prospecting tools) to find leads that match the target market.

    • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and segments for lead generation.

  2. Qualifying Leads:

    • Contact potential leads and qualify them based on predefined criteria such as company size, industry, budget, and needs.

    • Engage in conversations with prospects to understand their pain points, challenges, and needs.

    • Determine whether a lead is a good fit for the product/service being offered, ensuring that the sales team focuses on high-potential prospects.

  3. Data Entry and CRM Management:

    • Input all lead details and interactions into the company’s CRM system (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho) to track lead progress and updates.

    • Maintain and update lead databases regularly to ensure data is accurate and organized.

    • Provide regular reports on lead generation activities and the quality of leads generated.

  4. Cold Calling and Outreach:

    • Conduct cold calls to introduce the company’s products or services, qualify leads, and set up appointments for the sales team.

    • Send introductory emails and follow-up communications to prospects.

    • Use persuasive communication to capture the interest of leads and secure meetings or demo appointments.

  5. Appointment Setting:

    • Schedule meetings, demos, or calls between qualified leads and the sales team or business development representatives.

    • Ensure smooth handoff of qualified leads to the appropriate sales representative, providing all relevant information for follow-up.

  6. Follow-Up and Nurturing:

    • Regularly follow up with potential leads to nurture relationships and maintain interest in the product or service.

    • Develop drip email campaigns or use automated tools to stay in touch with prospects and keep them engaged.

    • Re-engage dormant leads and potential prospects who have shown interest in the past but have not yet converted.

  7. Collaboration with Sales and Marketing Teams:

    • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align on lead generation goals, campaigns, and strategies.

    • Share insights about lead quality and feedback from conversations to help improve sales strategies and marketing efforts.
