Job Description
Lead Project Engineer
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or in a closely related or equivalent field with 3 to 5 years of Project Execution experience with rotating equipment.
Preferences:
Candidates with experience in similar role in the Pump industry, Turbines, Mechanical seals, compressors, rotating equipment field.
Primary Location: Hoskote KIADB Industrial Area, Bengaluru, Karnataka
Roles and Responsibilities and Authorities Description:
This position will support Torishima Japan for Executing orders from India customers and will be responsible for the following activities:
Shall have good knowledge of pumps and its application processes in key industrial markets such as Power, desalination, chemical, Oil & Gas etc.
Shall have Knowledge in JIS, API 610, ISO 5199, HIS, API 682, API 614, API 671, ASTM, ASME design standards.
To Participate in Order transfer process along with Sales & Application Engineer.
To participate or organize Kick Of Meeting (KOM) with customer and operational handover of purchase orders to Torishima Project team in Japan
Ensure on time submission of documents in accordance with customer requirements and internal rules/procedures as per the project time line.
To act as point of contact for related projects and ensure proper communication with customer during post order engineering.
Provide accurate, timely and project tracking updates as assigned by reporting manager.
Resolving technical queries with customers, contractors & consultants arising during post order.
Effectively organize and ensure regular communication between Torishima Japan & Customer.
Comply with Company goals, objectives and policies and adhere to the Company standards.
Ensure preparation of documentation for ISO audits
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to work independently and driven by goals and objectives.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Basic understanding of ISO 9000 design requirements.
