Lead Research Engineer - Software Developer For Digital Twin Knowledge Management Jobs Opening in Siemens Technology and Services Private Limited at Bangalore
Job Description
This is your role. What part will you play?
- Research and development in Simulation and Digital Twin knowledge management
- Develop and prototype knowledge networks for Digital Twin(s)
- Keeping abreast with the State of the art in the area of Digital twin applications
- Development of Proof of Concepts in areas related to machine learning and image processing related tasks
- Implementation of web applications for advanced engineering data visualization
- Evaluation and Development of new graph-based solutions (in knowledge representation & reasoning)
- Implement of custom software components to address requirements not handled by off-the-shelf systems (e.g., processing domain specific data, handling large volume data, etc)
- Work on existing R&D projects with a focus on delivering results, help define future projects and help shape roadmaps for the technological area
- Collaborate, research, and publish findings at various internal and external forums
- Interact with customers to understand their pain points and suggest line of action
- Work closely with customers to deliver outstanding solutions in business projects and integrate them with customer workflows

Technical Expertise
- Proficient in Python, Python Flask or Django framework is mandatory
- Experience in React JS, Angular, D3.js
- Proficiency in Natural language processing techniques is considered a plus
- Experience with machine learning and Deep Learning, including hands on implementation experience. Experience in DevOps is a Plus.
- Experience in product lifecycle knowledge graphs : Knowledge representation and reasoning
- Experience with graph based algorithms
- Experience with graph databases is considered a plus
- Excellent quantitative aptitude
- Ability to come up with custom and innovative algorithms
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in computer science/Electrical/Electronics and Communication/Mechanical Engineering/Aerospace engineering
- Demonstrated relevant work experience of 6-7 years
- Demonstrated experience in development of custom algorithms
- Demonstrated experience in programming for real world applications
- Demonstrated experience in contributing to technical papers at prestigious conferences and journals
- Interest in working on innovative industrial products and projects
