Applications are invited from qualified candidates for the post of Lecturer (on contract
basis) for a period of one year in the Department of Statistics, Kariavattom.
Post : LECTURER (on contract basis)

Qualifications : Good Academic records with at least 55% marks in M Sc Statistics or an
equivalent Degree recognized by The University of Kerala.
NET/ Ph.D should be cleared by the eligible candidate.
Teaching experience is counted for post Graduate teaching only.
Research experience is counted from National/ International Research Centers/
Institutions/ Organizations only.
The publications (Journals) shall be from approved UGC- CARE list.
The publications (conference) shall be in approved proceeding with ISBN/ ISSN.
A relaxation of 5% marks at Masters level is allowed to the SC/ST candidates)
Candidates who have passed their qualifying examination from Universities other than
Kerala University should produce eligibility certificate obtained from this University at the
time of interview.
Those who are eligible for communal reservation should produce necessary documents.
Age : Not more than 40 years as on 01.01.2021 (Usual relaxation in the upper age limit
shall be allowed in the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST, OBC Communities).
Remuneration : Consolidated amount of • Rs. 35,000/ (Rupees Thirty FiveThousand only) per month .
