Recruitment Examinations to the Posts of Legal
Metrology Officer Of Civil Supplies And Consumer Affairs Under The Andaman And
Nicobar Administration.
Educational qualification: B.Sc. with Physics as one of the subject Or Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University Or Diploma in Civil or Mechanical Engineering with 3 years professional experience.
Eligibility Conditions for the posts of Legal Metrology Officer of Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs are as under:- 1. Applicant must be an Indian national.

Pay Scale : Rs.9300-34800 with Grade Pay of Rs.4200/-(Pre-revised) and Rs. 35400/- (level-6) (revised)
Age Limit: not exceeding 30 years

Selection Procedure: Selection for appointment to the posts of Legal Metrology Officer will be made on the basis of marks secured in the written examination by the candidate. Success in the examination confers no right of appointment unless government is satisfied after such enquiry as may be considered necessary that the candidate is suitable in all respects of appointment to the service/post.
Examination Centre shall be at Port Blair only. The date/time of written examination will be intimated later through News paper and website. Admission Certificate (Admit Card) for the Written Examination indicating the Schedule Date, Time Table, Venue/Centre of the Examination will be made available in the website which have to be DOWNLOADED/PRINTED OUT by all concerned candidates.
