Liaisoning Officer JD
Location: Raigarh Job Type: Full-timeRole Overview The Liaisoning Officer will be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with government authorities, regulatory bodies, and local agencies to ensure smooth operations, compliance, and timely approvals for the steel plant.
Key Responsibilities
· Coordinate with government departments such as:
· Pollution Control Board
· Mining Department
· Electricity Board
· Factory Inspector
· Labour Department
· Handle approvals, licenses, and renewals, including:
· Environmental clearance
· Factory license
· Mining permissions
· Power connections
· Ensure compliance with statutory regulations related to steel and mining industry
· Maintain proper documentation and records of all approvals and communications
· Represent the company in meetings with government officials and local authorities
· Resolve issues related to legal, regulatory, and operational permissions
· Monitor changes in government policies and advise management accordingly
· Build and maintain strong local network for smooth plant operations
Educational Qualification
· Graduate (B.Com / BA / BBA preferred)
· Additional qualification in Law / Compliance / Public Relations is an advantage
Skills Required
· Strong communication and negotiation skills
· Good knowledge of government procedures & documentation
· Familiarity with steel / mining industry regulations
· Problem-solving and relationship management skills
· Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Experience
· 2–3 years of experience in liaisoning
· Experience in steel plant / mining / manufacturing industry preferred
Salary
· ₹15,000 – ₹25,000 per month (depending on experience)
Additional Requirements
· Local candidate preferred
· Good network with government officials is a strong advantage
· Willingness to travel to government offices frequently
