Job Description
Position Summary:
We are seeking a well-connected, proactive, and organized Liaisoning Officer to facilitate and maintain professional relationships between the company and government departments, regulatory authorities, legal entities, vendors, and stakeholders. The Liaisoning Officer is responsible for ensuring timely clearances, approvals, licenses, and compliance by effectively communicating and coordinating with external agencies.
This role requires a strong understanding of government procedures, documentation, and a professional approach to building trustworthy relations with public and private stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Government Liaison:

Establish and maintain relationships with government officials, regulatory bodies, and local authorities.

Coordinate with municipal corporations, land revenue departments, legal authorities, pollution control boards, fire departments, electricity boards, town planning departments, etc.

Represent the company at official meetings, inspections, or negotiations when required.
2. Approvals and Clearances:
-
Handle applications and follow-ups for obtaining project-related approvals, NOCs, licenses, permits, and renewals.

Track and ensure compliance with statutory requirements for new and ongoing projects.

Liaise with departments such as Town & Country Planning, Municipal Corporation, Labour Department, RERA, etc., depending on the sector.
3. Legal & Documentation:

Prepare and submit legal and compliance-related documentation.

Maintain accurate records of all communications, permits, and approvals.

Support legal team in regulatory matters and during inspections or audits.

Monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations that affect the business.
4. Internal Coordination:

Collaborate with internal departments such as Legal, Projects, Compliance, HR, and Finance to ensure aligned communication with authorities.

Provide timely updates to management regarding the status of permissions and external interactions.

Support business development or project teams in due diligence, documentation, and licensing processes.
5. Public Relations:
-
Build and maintain a positive image of the company in front of public institutions and stakeholders.

Handle sensitive or complex interactions tactfully to protect the company’s interests.

Represent the organization with integrity and professionalism at all external forums.
