About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Manage data by preparing and updating records of publications using Excel and ONIX.
2. Upload publication data on various platforms like ONIX, Amazon, Flipkart, and our online platforms.
3. Mark subjects appropriately for enhanced discoverability of our books across platforms.
4. Create accurate Cataloging in Publication (CIP) Data for our publications, following industry standards.
5. Conduct outreach to libraries and librarians, providing comprehensive data about our publications.

Other requirements

1. Pursuing a Master's in Library Science (MLS) degree or enrolled in Library Science courses.

2. Proficiency in at least one of the languages (English, Sanskrit, or Hindi).

3. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

4. Excellent communication skills for interacting with library patrons and colleagues.

5. Knowledge of library systems and cataloging methods is a plus.

6. Proficient in managing Excel or other tools for organizing library-related information.
