- Profile - Line Executive
- Job Role - Manufacturing - Engineering
- Eligibility: ITI, Diploma, BE/B.tech , or Any Qualification
- Salary - ₹ 16,000 - ₹ 21,000 per month (Fixed + incentives)
- Location - Ahmednagar, Maharashtra, (Pune)

Key Responsibilities:
1. Line Management and Supervision:
-
Oversee day-to-day operations of the production line to ensure timely and accurate production output.

Allocate tasks and responsibilities to line workers and operators according to their skills and production requirements.
-
Monitor individual and team performance to ensure adherence to timelines, productivity, and quality standards.
-
Maintain discipline and cooperation on the production floor while promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.
2. Production Execution:
-
Ensure the implementation of production plans, schedules, and targets set by the production or manufacturing manager.
-
Monitor the entire line process including setup, operation, and product changeovers.
-
Ensure that the correct raw materials, parts, and tools are available before the start of production.

Minimize downtime by identifying and resolving operational issues quickly.
3. Quality Assurance:
-
Inspect products at different stages of production to ensure compliance with technical specifications and quality standards.

Work closely with the Quality Assurance (QA) team to monitor defects and ensure corrective actions are taken.

Ensure that Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality parameters are consistently followed by line operators.
-
Keep detailed production and defect logs for continuous improvement tracking.
4. Equipment and Machinery Oversight:
-
Supervise the use of machinery and tools by operators, ensuring proper handling and safety.

Conduct basic machine checks or coordinate with the maintenance team for repairs and preventive maintenance.

Report malfunctions, unusual noise, or equipment downtime to maintenance or engineering teams for immediate action.

Ensure optimal machine performance to maximize output and reduce wastage.
5. Documentation and Reporting:
-
Maintain accurate production records including quantities produced, rejections, rework, raw material usage, and operator attendance.

Submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on production performance, downtime, and resource utilization.

Assist with root cause analysis reports in case of consistent product defects or delays.

Keep production checklists and logs updated as per company policy.
6. Safety and Compliance:
-
Ensure that all safety protocols and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements are followed on the production floor.

Conduct safety toolbox talks or briefings as needed.

Identify and report any hazards, unsafe behavior, or potential risks to the Safety Officer or Management.

Assist in conducting safety audits and participating in fire or evacuation drills.
7. Continuous Improvement:
-
Identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies in the production process and suggest improvements.

Work closely with process engineers to implement lean manufacturing, 5S, or Kaizen practices on the shop floor.

Provide feedback and suggestions to improve product quality, reduce waste, and optimize workflow.
8. Team Coordination and Training:
-
Train and onboard new line operators on production techniques, quality standards, and safety measures.
-
Coordinate with other departments (e.g., Quality, Maintenance, Inventory) to ensure seamless production flow.

Motivate team members to achieve productivity goals and maintain a high level of morale.

Conduct periodic evaluations and recommend skill development plans for the team.
