Job Description
- Good knowledge of administer MS Windows Server
2003/2008R2/2012R2.
- Ability to manage and maintain an Active Directory and administering
Active Directory GPOs.
- Ability to troubleshoot common Windows and Active Directory
issues.
- Good knowledge of DHCP configuration and troubleshooting.
- Good knowledge of Windows File/Storage Services, SMB, Shared
Folders.
- good understanding on reviewing/checking server logs for
errors and issues, resolving as necessary.
- Scheduling backups on HP Data Protector.
- Should have knowledge of installation, configuration and
management of VMware vSphere server.
- RAID configuration and server OS deployment.
- Networking - basic understanding of LAN, WAN, layer-2, layer-3 sub-nets, VLANs and routing.
- Scripting language experience (python, powershell, BASH or similar) is a plus
