Pack, weigh and label completed items for shipment or storage

Follow all company guidelines regarding packaging to ensure items arrive at their destination

Identify and dispose of defective items before they are shipped to customers

Inspecting and evaluating incoming materials to ensure they meet standards for quality and safety

Communicating with dispatch regarding loading times to ensure that deadlines are met

Operating machinery such as forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, and lift trucks to move materials

Loading and unloading products, materials, machinery, or equipment from trucks, railcars, barges, or ships

Organizing and maintaining inventory records of materials stored in warehouses or elsewhere
