Job Summary:
We are seeking hardworking, reliable, and physically fit Loader / Unloader staff to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for loading and unloading goods, materials, and packages in a safe and efficient manner. The work may involve lifting, moving, stacking, and sorting of products either manually or using basic tools such as trolleys or hand trucks.
This is a physically active, on-ground position that plays a vital role in the smooth handling of incoming and outgoing goods. The ideal candidate should be able to follow instructions, work efficiently under pressure, and handle goods responsibly to avoid damage.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Loading Activities:

Load boxes, cartons, packages, or goods onto trucks, delivery vans, or containers.

Ensure proper placement to avoid damage or imbalance during transport.

Secure the goods using ropes, straps, or padding (where required).
-
Verify items against loading documents and packing lists.
2. Unloading Activities:
-
Unload incoming goods or materials from delivery trucks or containers.
-
Carefully handle fragile or perishable items to avoid breakage or spoilage.

Place unloaded items in designated receiving or staging areas.
3. Sorting and Stacking:
-
Sort goods by type, size, order, or destination after unloading.

Stack goods properly to optimize space and prevent tipping or falling.

Separate damaged or unlabelled goods and report them to the supervisor.
4. Inventory Support:

Count items during loading/unloading and report discrepancies.

Support stock checking and physical inventory when required.

Help with tagging, labeling, and basic documentation under supervision.
5. Use of Equipment:

Use manual tools like hand trucks, pallet jacks, trolleys, or ropes.

Assist licensed forklift operators when heavy machinery is used.

Report any equipment issues to the supervisor immediately.
6. Safety and Cleanliness:

Follow all workplace safety rules and use protective gear such as gloves, shoes, helmets, etc.

Maintain a clean and organized loading/unloading area.

Dispose of packing materials, plastics, and waste in designated bins.
7. Coordination and Teamwork:

Cooperate with drivers, warehouse staff, supervisors, and security.

Communicate clearly and promptly report delays, shortages, or hazards.

Be available to assist in other warehouse or facility tasks as directed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Education:

No formal qualification required.

8th or 10th pass preferred.
Experience:
-
Prefer experience in warehouse, logistics, or general labor roles.

Freshers and daily wage workers are encouraged to apply.
Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry loads weighing up to 25–50 kg.

Physically fit and able to stand, walk, bend, and move for long hours.

Willingness to work in hot, cold, or outdoor environments if necessary.

Comfortable with early morning or late-night shifts as per operational need.
