LOADING UNLOADING WORKER / INDOOR CLEANER
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Loading and Unloading Duties:
-
Load and unload materials, goods, or products from trucks, delivery vans, or containers.
-
Lift, carry, and move items manually or with tools such as trolleys or hand trucks.
-
Ensure that items are placed in the correct location or storage area after unloading.
-
Count and check goods for damage or discrepancies during loading/unloading.
-
Follow instructions from supervisors or delivery staff when handling fragile or hazardous items.
-
Assist drivers with securing loads or packaging goods when needed.
-
Keep loading areas clean and free from obstructions.
2. Cleaning and Housekeeping Responsibilities:
-
Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in indoor areas such as offices, lobbies, warehouses, or restrooms.
-
Wipe down surfaces, desks, chairs, tables, windows, and doors.
-
Empty trash bins and dispose of waste in accordance with facility guidelines.
-
Refill supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, and sanitizers in restrooms and common areas.
-
Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces to maintain hygiene standards.
-
Report any maintenance issues, leaks, or safety hazards to the supervisor.
-
Ensure cleaning tools and materials are properly stored after use.
3. Safety and Hygiene Compliance:
-
Wear appropriate uniforms, gloves, and safety gear (PPE) during work hours.
-
Follow all company safety protocols and procedures.
-
Use cleaning chemicals and lifting tools as instructed to avoid injury.
-
Maintain awareness of surroundings, especially in active warehouse or delivery areas.
-
Report accidents or incidents immediately to the supervisor.
4. Organizational Support:
-
Assist in organizing stockrooms, storage areas, and indoor equipment.

Participate in rearranging furniture, equipment, or goods as directed.
-
Support other staff in setting up or clearing spaces for meetings, events, or deliveries.

Cooperate with the security team or warehouse staff during inventory counts or inspections.
