Job Description
About part time job/internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Make biweekly visits to LIC divisions, banks, H.O./zonal & regional offices
2. Explore the possibility of new business for the company in untapped sectors
3. Assist the sales laterals for the purpose of presentation and discussion on meetings at the clients' end
4. Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity
5. Take up generated leads out of the back-office & conduct field visits to a logical conclusion
6. Establish and maintain client relationships & resolve client concerns by keeping in touch with them on a regular basis
7. Identify new & fast selling products that would generate a large volume of business for the organization
8. Undertake outstation travel to garner business from our key/new accounts, as and when required by the company
9. Maintain an appropriate synchronized workflow with the marketing team in the head office
10. Facilitate timely release of payments
11. Support in any type of business-related errands as and when required by the company
12. Update the company's CRM/database software flawlessly with complete details of the customers visited/interacted
Note: LA acts like the sales head for the region and participates in profit sharing.
