Job Description
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring the movement of goods and materials to ensure timely, cost-effective, and efficient delivery. The role involves managing transportation activities, maintaining inventory records, coordinating with vendors and carriers, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
Plan and schedule transportation routes and shipments.
Liaise with suppliers, transport providers, warehouses, and internal departments.
Track shipments and proactively resolve delivery issues or delays.
Prepare and maintain shipping documents, invoices, delivery notes, and customs documentation.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishment activities.
Ensure accurate data entry and maintain records in ERP, WMS, or logistics management systems.
Verify freight bills and monitor transportation costs.
Coordinate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers and carriers.
Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
Generate logistics reports, analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), and identify process improvement opportunities.
Support audits and maintain proper documentation of logistics activities.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
2–5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, warehouse operations, or transportation coordination.
Experience working with ERP, WMS, or TMS platforms.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Skills
Experience with SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems.
Knowledge of import/export procedures and customs regulations.
Familiarity with freight management and carrier negotiations.
Understanding of key logistics KPIs such as on-time delivery, transportation cost, and inventory accuracy.
