Job Overview

A Logistics Executive is responsible for coordinating and managing the supply chain operations, ensuring timely delivery of goods, optimizing transportation costs, and maintaining inventory records. This role involves working with vendors, suppliers, warehouse teams, and transport partners to ensure smooth logistics operations.

Demand Planning and Demand Forecasting skills
Analytical Skills in data interpretation and problem-solving
Production Planning experience in optimizing freight flows
Strong Communication skills to collaborate cross-functionally
Experience with logistics or supply chain management is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related field

Key Responsibilities

1. Supply Chain & Logistics Management

Oversee incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
Coordinate with suppliers, transporters, and warehouse teams.
Plan and optimize transportation routes and schedules.

2. Inventory & Warehouse Coordination

Monitor stock levels, storage conditions, and inventory records.
Ensure proper packaging, labeling, and documentation of shipments.
Implement inventory control measures to prevent stock shortages or overstocking.

3. Documentation & Compliance

Maintain logistics records, invoices, and shipping documents.
Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and company policies.
Work with customs and government agencies for clearance of shipments.

4. Cost Management & Vendor Negotiation

Negotiate with vendors and transport providers to optimize costs.
Track transportation expenses and improve cost efficiency.
Identify opportunities for process improvements in logistics operations.

5. Coordination & Communication

Act as a liaison between suppliers, warehouse staff, and customers.
Provide real-time tracking updates to clients and internal teams.
Handle logistics-related inquiries, delays, and issues.
