Job Title: Logistics Executive

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and optimize daily transport routes to ensure timely deliveries and cost efficiency.
• Coordinate with transporters, drivers, and internal departments for dispatch and delivery schedules.
• Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any transportation issues.
• Ensure proper documentation for all dispatches including E-way bills, invoices, and delivery challans.
• Manage vehicle allocation based on load, route, and delivery priority.
• Maintain records of transportation costs, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance schedules.
• Address delivery delays, transit damages, or logistics discrepancies with appropriate solutions.
• Collaborate with warehouse, production, and customer service teams to align logistics activities with business requirements.
• Ensure compliance with transportation laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Evaluate transporter performance and suggest improvements or changes as needed.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of transport routing, logistics planning, and fleet coordination
• Familiarity with GPS tracking and logistics management systems
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Problem-solving ability and attention to detail
• Basic knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory requirements
• Proficiency in MS Excel and logistics software

Qualifications & Experience:

• Any Graduate/Graduate in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred
• 2–4 years of experience in logistics/transport coordination roles
• Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment preferred
