Lucknow University invites application for the position Junior Research Fellow

Essential qualification: https://www.csirhrdg.res.in. The applicant should be Indian citizen M.Sc. in Botany/ Plant Science/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology with at least 559% marks. NET/GATE

The preference will be given to a candidate with proven knowledge and skill in the area of wood formation and ROS signaling

Emoluments: Rs 31000 + HRA (first and 2nd year), Rs 35000+HRA (3d year) as per CSIR guideline.

Tenure of the fellowship: 3 years or co-terminus with project.

Age Limit: Upper age should not exceed 28 years for general category candidate on the last date of application mentioned below. sC/ST/OBC/PH and women candidates may get a relaxation five years in the upper age limit

The idea of starting a University at Lucknow was first mooted by Raja Sir Mohammad Ali Mohammad Khan, Khan Bahadur, K.C.I.E. of Mahmudabad, who contributed an article to the columns of 'The Pioneer'' urging the foundation of a University at Lucknow. A little later Sir Harcourt Butler, K.C.S.I., K.C.I.E, was appointed Lieutenant-Governor of the United Provinces, and his well-known interest in all matters under his jurisdiction, specially in matters educational, gave fresh life and vigour to the proposal.
