Job Description
Key Responsibilities
1. Machine Setup and Operation
-
Set up machines before the beginning of each shift or production run.

Operate machines (CNC, lathe, injection molding, packaging, pressing, cutting, etc.) as per company standards.

Adjust machine settings (speed, feed, temperature, etc.) based on production specifications and raw material requirements.
-
Monitor machine operations during production to ensure smooth performance and adherence to quality standards.
2. Quality Control and Monitoring
-
Regularly check output for defects or inconsistencies and make necessary adjustments.
-
Measure and inspect finished products using gauges, calipers, and other measuring tools.
-
Ensure products meet the company's quality standards before passing them to the next process.
-
Record inspection results and report discrepancies to the supervisor.
3. Routine Maintenance and Cleaning
-
Perform basic preventive maintenance like cleaning, lubrication, and checking for wear.
-
Identify and report mechanical issues or malfunctions to the maintenance team.
-
Replace worn-out parts (belts, blades, nozzles, etc.) as directed.
-
Keep the machine and surrounding area clean and free from obstructions or hazards.
4. Safety and Compliance
-
Follow all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, goggles, and safety shoes.

Immediately report any unsafe condition, near-miss, or accident to the supervisor.

Comply with company SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), ISO standards, and other regulatory requirements.
5. Documentation and Reporting
-
Maintain daily logs for machine operations, breakdowns, production quantities, and maintenance performed.

Report production data accurately to the shift supervisor or line manager.
-
Assist in preparing shift handover notes for smooth transition between shifts.
