Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Machine Operator to set up, maintain, and operate machinery in our production facility. The ideal candidate should ensure efficient and safe machine operations to maintain production schedules and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

Operate machinery safely and efficiently as per standard operating procedures.
Set up machines prior to production.
Monitor the production process and perform regular quality checks.
Identify and resolve minor machine malfunctions; escalate complex issues to maintenance.
Ensure output meets quality standards and report deviations.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Log production data and maintain documentation accurately.
Follow all safety guidelines and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Assist with machine maintenance and troubleshooting as required.

Machine Operation Skills:

Proficient in operating a variety of industrial machinery and equipment.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and work orders to set up and operate machines correctly.

Attention to Detail:

Strong focus on quality control and the ability to identify defects in products or equipment.
Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to production standards and guidelines.

Technical Skills:

Understanding of machine mechanics, including how to troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance.
Familiarity with digital controls, programmable machines, or automated equipment is a plus.

Problem-Solving Skills:

Ability to quickly identify problems with machines or processes and troubleshoot minor issues to minimize downtime.
Strong critical thinking skills to address operational challenges effectively.

Safety Awareness:

Strong knowledge of workplace safety protocols and the ability to apply them in daily operations.
Able to identify hazards and follow proper procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.

Communication Skills:

Ability to communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments.
Comfortable documenting machine performance, production data, and safety observations.

Physical Stamina and Dexterity:

Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to operate machines accurately.
