Job Description

Handling and operating machinery related to solar energy projects.
Installation of solar panels at project sites.
Regular maintenance and upkeep of installed solar panels.

FACILITIES PROVIDED:

Key Responsibilities:

Machinery Handling:

Equipment Operation:
Safely operate machinery such as forklifts, cranes, boom lifts, skid steers, and hoists for loading, unloading, transporting, and positioning heavy equipment and materials.
Installation and Setup:
Assist with setting up machinery and equipment at job sites according to specifications and operational requirements.
Inspection and Maintenance:
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards. Report and assist in repairing any defects or malfunctions.
Transportation Logistics:
Coordinate and assist in the safe transportation of heavy equipment between sites. Ensure all loading and unloading is done in accordance with safety regulations.
Compliance and Safety:
Follow all OSHA and company safety protocols, ensuring proper use of PPE and adherence to safe lifting and handling procedures.

Solar Panel Installation:

System Installation:
Install photovoltaic (PV) systems on rooftops or ground-mounted structures, including racking, mounting hardware, panels, and electrical components.
Wiring and Electrical Connections:
Perform basic electrical work, including wiring solar panels, connecting inverters, grounding systems, and interfacing with grid systems as per electrical codes.
Troubleshooting and Repairs:
Diagnose and resolve issues with solar energy systems, including inverter faults, panel inefficiencies, and wiring problems.
System Testing and Commissioning:
Test installed systems for functionality, performance, and safety using specialized tools such as multimeters, IV curve tracers, and monitoring software.
Site Preparation:
Conduct site assessments to determine ideal panel placement, sun exposure, and load-bearing capability of structures.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain detailed records of installations, inspections, and maintenance. Provide project updates and completion reports to supervisors and clients.
