Job Description

* Machinist with ITI/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering required for HVF Avadi.

Key Responsibilities

1. Machine Operation & Setup

Operate CNC, VMC, lathe, milling, and grinding machines.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
Set up tools, fixtures, and machine settings for production runs.

2. Precision Machining & Quality Control

Measure and inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Ensure parts meet tolerance and quality standards.
Perform adjustments and tool changes as needed.

3. Maintenance & Safety Compliance

Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machines.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.

4. Process Improvement & Reporting

Suggest improvements for machine efficiency and quality control.
Document machining activities, production reports, and tool usage.
Work with engineers and supervisors to optimize production.
