3-6 Years of development experience
· 3 to 6 years of experience as a Mainframe developer and have experience in the areas of requirement analysis, design, coding, testing.
· Mainframe developer well versed in COBOL, DB2, JCL, Stored Procedures and Tools.
· Work on Legacy Modernization assessments and assist architects in creating roadmaps, defining future state architecture, and defining and building transitional architecture from top to bottom.
· Involve with Client/business on requirement gathering and understand the functional requirements.
· Prepare and review various technical and functional documents like Requirement Specification document, High Level Design Document, Detailed Design Document, System test plan and test procedure document, implementation plans and Knowledge transition documents after the implementation.
· At least 2 year of experience in software development life cycle using Agile methodology and knows to use Jira, ServiceNow, Confluence, etc.
· Should have strong experience in agile model.
· Develop test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures based on business requirements and technical specifications
· Execute test cases and document results to ensure the quality and functionality of mainframe applications
· Provide support to end-users during the UAT (User Acceptance Testing) phase
· Experience troubleshooting application and performance issues.
· Should be able to fix abends using tools like Abend-aid.
· Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
· Having mutual fund domain knowledge is added advantage.
· Nice to have knowledge/some experience on Java or AWS.
· Should have good verbal & written communication skills.
· Good to have Bitbucket, Jira, Splunk, Postgres
