Maintenance Engineer/MEP Engineer
(Mechanical-Electrical-Plumbing Engineer)
Education - B.E/B.Tech - Mechanical/ Electrical
Post Graduate Qualification in relevant field would be an
added advantage
10-15 years relevant experience of working for a
construction company or such large organizations out of which minimum 7 years
of hands on experience in the field of maintenance/MEP works.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
Should be well versed with local language.
Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite applications
(Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
Must possess strong leadership and technical writing
capabilities along with excellent communication skills.
Must be ambitious and self-motivated.
Ability to work independently and in a collaborative
team-oriented environment
Detailed oriented and highly organized.
Quality oriented and deadline driven
Must be highly accountable

Roles & Responsibilities:
Review plans and specification according to plan.
Thorough knowledge on Electrical, HVAC, fire alarm systems,
plumbing & fire fighting.
Overseeing the HVAC i.e. installation and maintenance of A.C
heating and ventilation like changing fillers, Maintenance of Chiller Plants,
etc.
Maintaining of Electrical parts for outlets and application
of other systems like lighting switches, fire alarm, security system, CCTV
systems, etc.
Will provide guidance and support to facilitate best options
for lighting which will be cost effective and relevant for the area/work.
Will handle plumbing including STP and pipe system as well
as gas delivery system in Canteen and laboratory setting.
Will deal with technical aspects to save energy and water,
along with sophistically and secure methods of delivery.
Where required prepare technical clarifications to the
tendered design to suit specific on-site construction and co-ordination issues.
Since University has modern building it will require
substantial ventilation environmental control as well as safety precaution
& preventive measures.
Involved in the complete lifecycle of the project & its
maintenance wherever necessary.
Review various MEP specifications, interpret contracts, and
participate in technical & commercial negotiations with vendors.
Lead a team & be able to supervise & coordinate the activities
