Hiring Maintenance Head (Engineer)!!!
Role/ Position: Maintenance Head
Industry: E-Waste Chemical Recovery

Qualification: Diploma EEE/Mech & B.E (EEE/Mech)
Job Summary &Responsibility:
1. Maintenance Strategy & Execution
Develop, schedule, and oversee daily, weekly, and shutdown maintenance for chemical, metallurgical, and mechanical assets.
Implement Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM) programs (vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis, thickness testing, corrosion monitoring).
Plan and execute turnarounds (major refractory relines, chemical scrubber overhauls, electrical distribution servicing).
2. Process Safety & Corrosion Management
Manage maintenance of equipment handling aggressive chemicals (sulfuric, hydrochloric, caustic, or solvent-based circuits) – including lining integrity, gaskets, and material selection.
Maintain critical safety devices: pressure relief valves, rupture discs, emergency isolation valves, gas detection, flame monitoring systems.
3. Aluminum Alloy Manufacturing Support
Maintain melting/holding furnaces – burner management systems, recuperators, thermocouples, charge well tilting mechanisms.
Manage molten metal contact components (launders, troughs, spouts, degassing rotors) – preventive change-outs to avoid refractory failures.
Maintain casting equipment: water cooling systems, mold tables, hydraulic shears, billet handling.
Ensure hot work and molten metal area safety protocols are integrated into all maintenance permits.
4. General Engineering Workshop
Manage compressed air systems (dryers/filters), overhead cranes (periodic statutory inspection), forklifts, and general lifting tackle.
5. People & Contractor Management
Lead, train, and schedule mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and welding technicians (direct and indirect).
Develop skills matrix – especially for hazardous area work, hot work, confined space entry, and chemical handling.
Manage external contractors for specialist work (refractory installation, NDT, high-voltage, thermography).
6. Budget & Spares Optimization
Prepare and control maintenance budget (labor, materials, third-party services, consumables).
Manage critical spares strategy
7. Reliability & Continuous Improvement
Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for unplanned failures – especially chemical leaks, furnace refractory failures, or pump seal failures.
Track Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) .
Implement reliability improvements (e.g., upgraded seal materials, better refractory design, machine PM optimization).
8. HSE & Compliance
Issue and audit safe work permits (hot work, confined space, work at height, electrical isolation, line breaking for chemical lines).
Ensure statutory inspections: pressure vessels, cranes, lifting equipment, electrical systems, fire suppression.
Lead maintenance contribution to process hazard analyses (HAZOPs) and pre-startup safety reviews (PSSRs).
Fixed Salary: 50 K Takehome+ PF+Medical Insurance (As Per interview performance & Experience based )
