Job Description

Job Summary:

Absolute Barbecue is looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to ensure our restaurant's equipment, facilities, and utilities function efficiently. The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical, plumbing, and general repair work, ensuring smooth restaurant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and repair of kitchen equipment, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
Conduct preventive maintenance checks to reduce breakdowns.
Ensure timely repairs of furniture, fixtures, and restaurant interiors.
Troubleshoot and fix issues with refrigeration, exhaust systems, and gas pipelines.
Work closely with the restaurant management to address maintenance requests.
Ensure compliance with safety and hygiene standards.
Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and tools.
Coordinate with external vendors for specialized repairs when needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

✅ Education: ITI/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or a related technical field.
✅ Technical expertise in electrical, mechanical, or hydraulic systems.
✅ Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
✅ Basic knowledge of PLCs, motors, HVAC, and industrial equipment (preferred).
✅ Problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach.
✅ Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and emergency call-outs if required.
