Job Description
We are a leading Single-specialty ENT hospital with advanced care and surgical facilities and now we are looking for dedicated and qualified Male Nursing Staff to join our healthcare team for Evening shift 4 pm to 8 pm.
Education:-
- Staff Nurse (General Ward / OT / Emergency)
- GNM / B.Sc. Nursing – Male Candidates
Eligibility Criteria:
- GNM or B.Sc. (Nursing) from a recognized institute
- Valid Nursing Council Registration
- Minimum 1 year of experience preferred
- Good communication and patient care skills
Key Responsibilities:
1. Patient Care and Monitoring
-
Provide round-the-clock nursing care, including bathing, feeding, and assisting patients with mobility and hygiene.

Monitor and record patients’ vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, respiration, and pulse.

Document patients' symptoms, progress, and responses to treatment and share findings with physicians.

Assist in repositioning and transporting immobile or post-operative patients to avoid bedsores or injuries.
2. Medication and Treatment Administration
-
Administer oral medications, injections, and intravenous fluids as per doctor’s prescriptions.

Ensure timely delivery and accurate dosages of prescribed medications.

Assist in the preparation and execution of diagnostic tests and minor procedures.

Maintain medication records and report any adverse reactions or complications to the medical team.
3. Assistance in Medical Procedures
-
Assist doctors and surgeons during medical rounds, wound dressings, minor surgeries, and emergency procedures.

Prepare and sterilize instruments, dressing trays, and medical equipment.

Provide post-operative care and monitor patients’ recovery progress.
4. Patient Education and Communication
-
Educate patients and their families about health conditions, prescribed treatments, and aftercare instructions.

Provide psychological support to patients and create a positive healing environment.

Act as a communication link between patients, families, doctors, and other medical staff.
5. Infection Control and Safety
-
Follow strict hygiene and infection control protocols to prevent hospital-acquired infections.

Dispose of medical waste safely and in compliance with hospital standards and government regulations.

Ensure the cleanliness and organization of assigned patient wards and nursing stations.
6. Emergency Response
-
Respond swiftly to emergency situations such as cardiac arrests, trauma cases, or deteriorating patient conditions.

Perform basic life support (BLS) or advanced cardiac life support (ACLS), if certified.

Assist in CPR, wound management, bleeding control, and trauma stabilization.
7. Documentation and Compliance
-
Maintain accurate nursing records, charts, and reports in physical or digital formats.

Update patient case files, medication charts, and care plans regularly.

Ensure compliance with medical ethics, patient confidentiality, and institutional policies.
8. Teamwork and Coordination
-
Work collaboratively with doctors, other nurses, paramedical staff, and administrative personnel.

Attend shift handovers, briefings, and clinical meetings.

Participate in training sessions, workshops, and continuous education programs.

He was surgical fellow at the prestigious Vikram E.N.T. Hospital and Research Institute Coimbatore, run by Dr. P.G Viswanathan from October 2003 to May 2005 where he specialised in micro-earsurgery.
