Job Description

• The Person Will be handling Sales & Business development Activities under the supervision of seniors.Involves extensive travelling within the defined territory
• Involves contacting all schools & colleges (principal, teachers), coaching centers, book shops, education bodies, govt. agencies, examination boards, academic councils etc. to promote the text books from the publication house.
• Coordinate with back-end team to ensure timely availability of text books in the market
• Handle queries of the dealers/distributors, schools & colleges, teachers, education bodies, govt. agencies, examinations boards, academic councils etc. about the content of the book, author and editions
• Make necessary sales MIS and reports on a regular basis
• Exploring prospective opportunities by establishing and maintaining professional relationships with key decision-makers in leading schools, school chains, school bodies/ associations, government departments of school education (including CBSE, NCERT and State Boards), organizations operating in the education domain, etc.

Selection Criteria:

• Qualification:- B.B.A. - Specialisation in Sales & Marketing
• Placement :-Trainees would be placed in Sales Function only at our various Branches / HO in all group companies i.e. Madhubun
• Training Period:- Trainees would be taken on One Year’s Training, Initial One Month Induction Training at S. Chand Head Office which will include Introduction with Top Management Team, Training on Organization Culture, Systems, Practices, Soft Skills & Sales Skills e.g. Product Knowledge, Process of Sales, Team Work, Discipline, Cost Consciousness, etc
• Then they will be put on OJT (on the Job Training) at place of their posting in Branches
• Review & Confirmation :- Quarterly Assessment of Trainees would be done by Immediate Manager and Mentors. On successful completion of One Year’s training and on recommendation of their Manager they will be confirmed as Executive
• Candidate must have a BBA (Sales/Marketing) degree and should not been Pursuing further Studies
