Job Description
Provide clear leadership and vision, inspire, and motivate team of enthusiastic SDETs to achieve excellence and mentor them as they develop new skills
Experience in Automation Testing, Strategic Planning, Process Management, Resource Optimization, Quality Assurance
Defining test strategies, architectures, and plans for multiple products
Daily tracking of testing activities, management reporting, and escalation of issues
Monitor and report Key Performance Indicators across all areas of the business to ensure that all projects are delivered on cost and on time to the highest quality standards
Mapping Business requirements assisting in developing, implementing, and transitioning, customizing Processes in line with the guidelines specified by the business
Monitoring the overall functioning of processes, identifying improvement areas, and implementing adequate measures to maximize customer satisfaction level
Responsible for driving the overall quality of the product by working closely with the engineering and product teams to ensure quality happens as far up the chain as possible
Who should apply for this role?
15+ yrs. experience in managing product quality
Strong knowledge of Java and hands-on experience working with API Testing, Performance/Load Testing, Functional Testing, and Continuous Test Automation frameworks
Recent coding experience is a strong plus
Good understanding of web services and distributed systems
Proven understanding of gray box and black box testing techniques
Hands on experience with various REST API, Web and Mobile application testing tools
Excellent debugging skills, measures, and analyses code for quality
Strong leadership and mentoring skills. Ability to jump in and help with testing when required. Must have a great, positive attitude
Good communication skills with ability to coordinate across cross-functional teams and Business units
Must have a vision and set short term as well as long term goals
