Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Manual Tester to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing software applications manually to identify bugs, ensure product quality, and verify that the software meets the specified requirements. You will work closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities:-
Analyze requirements and specifications to understand the scope of testing.

Design and execute detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases.

Perform manual testing for web, desktop, and/or mobile applications.

Identify, document, and track bugs using issue tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).

Conduct various types of testing: functional, regression, integration, system, usability, and exploratory testing.

Validate bug fixes and perform re-testing.
-
Collaborate with developers and business teams to resolve issues.
-
Maintain test documentation, including test plans, test scenarios, and test case repositories.

Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

0–3 years of experience in manual testing or quality assurance roles.

Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.

Experience with test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., TestRail, JIRA).

Familiarity with basic SQL queries for database validation.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality.

Experience testing APIs using tools like Postman.

Basic knowledge of automation concepts or scripting (a plus, not mandatory).

Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in a sprint-based environment.

ISTQB Certification or other QA-related credentials.
