About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Collecting data on customers, competitors, and market place and consolidating information into actionable items, reports, and presentations
2. Compiling and analyzing statistical data using modern and traditional methods
3. Providing competitive analysis on various companies' market offerings, identifying market trends, pricing/business models, sales, and methods of operation
4. Conducting primary research for customer satisfaction, segmentation, brand and advertising research, pricing, and product-related research including quantitative and qualitative data analyses and interpretation
5. Interpreting researched market data, formulating reports, and making recommendations and presentations in line with business requirements
6. Overseeing client interaction wherever required
7. Surveying preferences and statistical data, and analyzing autonomously the qualitative data, trends, strategies, and competition aiming at increasing competitiveness and growth prospects

Other requirements

1. Must have experience in marketing and relevant work experience in engineering and the B2B domain

2. Must have a strong ability to carry out market research, interpret and analyze the relevant data and provide necessary recommendations in line with business requirements

3. Must have strong communication and presentation skills

4. Must be pursuing or have graduated with an MBA degree from a top B-school
