o Age, gender, Family background, Income
o Sender’s profile
o Receiver’s profile
o Any specific Cohorts emerging out of this
Regulatory:
- Guidelines & Policy framework
Contribution of traditional banking system transactions v/s Digital currency lead transactions:
- Benefits of Digital currency lead transactions (If any)
o Is it cost driven?
o Is it Convenience driven?
o Is it faster & more reliable?
o Any other?
Consumer Behaviour:
· Sender’s
· Receiver’s
· How & when the remittance is triggered?
· Is it need based or regular remittances?
· Which device does a sender & receiver is using & why?
Platform & Devices:
· Which companies are the leaders: example Western union, Money gram, Remitly, etc.
· Reasons why a particular company is leading v/s not being used.
· Is there a scope to bring a solution on feature phone which replicate the smartphone experience, will consumers adopt it & reasons?
· Expectation of consumers if a solution is developed for feature phones.
Retail behaviour study: (Retailer & consumer)
· Retailer Journey & behaviour
· Consumer Journey & behaviour
· Identification of the gaps / pain points.
· Preferred place for a consumer (Given a choice would they still go to a retailer or do it on phone)
