Job Description
About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Conduct literature reviews
2. Collect and analyze data
3. Prepare materials for submission to granting agencies and foundations
4. Prepare interview questions
5. Maintain accurate records of interviews, safeguarding the confidentiality of subjects, as necessary
6. Summarize interviews
7. Provide ready access to all experimental data for the faculty researcher and/or supervisor
8. Manage and respond to project-related email
9. Supervise undergraduate students working on the research project (maintaining records on assignment completion, acting as liaison/mediator between the undergraduate students and the faculty researcher)
10. Attend project meetings
11. Attend area seminars and other meetings as necessary
12. Summarize project results
13. Prepare progress reports for the PI and funding agency
14. Prepare other articles, reports, and presentations
