Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Collecting data on consumers, competitors and marketplace and consolidating information into actionable items, reports, and presentations
2. Understanding business objectives and designing surveys to discover prospective customers' preferences
3. Compiling and analyzing statistical data using modern and traditional methods to collect it
4. Using online market research and catalog findings to databases
5. Providing competitive analysis on various companies' market offerings, identifying market trends, pricing/business models, sales, and methods of operation
6. Evaluating program methodology and key data to ensure that data on the releases are accurate and the angle of the release is correct
7. Remaining fully informed on market trends, other parties researches, and implementing best practices
