Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Contribute new ideas for fundraising and identify suitable funding initiatives, calls for proposals etc.,
- Establish relationships with existing trust supporters.
- Objectively review the success and achievements against agreed targets, identifying strengths, weaknesses and areas for development.
- Maintain organised hard and soft files of all fundraising information.
- Participate in the day to day work of the organisation – such as reporting, attending team and Board meetings as required, and taking a flexible approach to general administrative and support tasks.
- Participate in staff appraisals and appropriate training for the role
- Minimum standard of computer literacy (Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook and the Internet).
- Demonstrable ability to plan and prioritize own workload with minimum supervision.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills required to build relationships with potential donors.
- Demonstrate initiative and work well under pressure.
- Understand and generate budgets.
- Plan ahead and work within agreed time frames.
- Willingness to travel for work.
- Readiness to work occasional evenings and weekends as required.
- In addition to the monthly salary, there will be performance-based in incentives.
