Job Description

Responsibilities:

Contribute new ideas for fundraising and identify suitable funding initiatives, calls for proposals etc.,
Establish relationships with existing trust supporters.
Objectively review the success and achievements against agreed targets, identifying strengths, weaknesses and areas for development.
Maintain organised hard and soft files of all fundraising information.
Participate in the day to day work of the organisation – such as reporting, attending team and Board meetings as required, and taking a flexible approach to general administrative and support tasks.
Participate in staff appraisals and appropriate training for the role

Skills and Competencies:

Minimum standard of computer literacy (Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook and the Internet).
Demonstrable ability to plan and prioritize own workload with minimum supervision.
Excellent communication and presentation skills required to build relationships with potential donors.
Demonstrate initiative and work well under pressure.
Understand and generate budgets.
Plan ahead and work within agreed time frames.
Willingness to travel for work.
Readiness to work occasional evenings and weekends as required.

Remarks:

In addition to the monthly salary, there will be performance-based in incentives.
