7.Set and achieve performance targets with the help of a more systematic planning system which integrates budgeting devolved to technical and service units with effective financial management
8.Exploit activities which provide a third stream of funding and promote interaction with business and the client
9.Develop and enter into alliances and affiliations with other organization & institution
10.Exploit partnerships and develop strategic alliances, particularly with other organization
11.Maintain effective external relations which promote the image and profile of the organization
12.Support the above with a comprehensive information strategy and high-quality management information systems, eg, self-assessment
