Job Description
A Material Handler moves, stores, and manages inventory in warehouses or factories, ensuring smooth supply chain flow by loading/unloading trucks, picking/packing orders, operating machinery (like forklifts), tracking stock, and maintaining clean, safe work areas, playing a key role in logistics by getting products from producers to consumers.
Key Responsibilities:
Receiving & Unloading: Accepting deliveries, checking items, and placing them in storage.
Order Fulfillment: Picking, packing, and staging customer orders for shipment.
Inventory Management: Using RF scanners, recording stock locations, reporting shortages, and conducting counts.
Equipment Operation: Safely using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment (may require certification).
Production Support: Delivering materials to production lines as needed.
