Job Description

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Stay abreast of magnetic materials research for insights into ongoing projects
2. Conduct experiments, synthesize materials, and analyze data using MATLAB/Python. Proficient in CVD, PVD, and nanofabrication-like ball milling
3. Collaborate with researchers and engineers, contributing actively to project development
4. Operate and maintain lab equipment, ensuring safety. Proficiency in nanocharacterization techniques (XRD, SEM, TEM) is necessary
5. Maintain detailed records, summarize findings for reports, and contribute to research publications
6. Embrace challenges, proactively solve problems, and stay updated with the latest developments
7. Present findings to peers and stakeholders, actively engaging in project planning

Requirements:

1. Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Material Science, Physics, or a related field.
2. Strong analytical skills, familiarity with MATLAB or Python, and excellent communication skills.
3. Prior knowledge of CVD, PVD, or nanofabrication processes like ball milling (wet, cryo, etc.).
4. Familiarity with nanocharacterization techniques such as XRD, SEM, and TEM.
