Job Description
Responsibilities as a Math Teacher:
* Prepare lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards
* Deliver engaging math classes using TGT methodology
* Assess student progress through regular tests & feedback
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lesson Planning & Curriculum Delivery

Prepare comprehensive lesson plans based on the curriculum and syllabus provided.

Deliver engaging and interactive math lessons to students of the assigned grade levels.

Incorporate real-life applications and examples to make mathematical concepts relatable.

Use a variety of teaching aids such as visual tools, models, and digital resources.
2. Classroom Management
-
Maintain a positive, respectful, and disciplined learning environment.

Establish clear expectations for behavior and academic performance.

Handle classroom challenges with patience and constructive discipline techniques.
3. Student Assessment & Evaluation
-
Design quizzes, tests, assignments, and projects to evaluate student learning.

Provide timely feedback to students on their performance and areas for improvement.

Maintain detailed records of student progress and communicate regularly with parents.
4. Individual Support & Mentoring
-
Identify students’ learning gaps and provide remedial support.

Offer additional guidance to students preparing for competitive exams or higher-level mathematics.

Encourage students to think critically and approach problem-solving with confidence.
5. Use of Technology in Teaching

Incorporate smart boards, educational apps, and online resources to enhance learning.

6. Professional Development

Stay updated with the latest teaching methodologies, educational trends, and changes in the mathematics curriculum.

7. Collaboration with School Staff

Educational Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or related field.

Preferred Qualification: Master’s degree in Mathematics or B.Ed with specialization in Mathematics.

Experience: 2–5 years of teaching experience preferred, though fresh graduates with strong subject knowledge may also be considered.
