Job Description
Maulana Mazharul Haque Arabic and Persian University (MMHAPU) invites application for the position Guest Faculty/ Part Time Teachers
No of Post: 27
Essential Qualification and Experience:
i) A candidate should have secured minimum 55 percent marks at the Master's degree or equivalent (or equivalent grade) level. Relax of 5 percent marks will be given at Master's Level.
(a) for SC/ST candidates of the state. Or
(b) for physically challenged persons from any part of the country but both benefits shall not be admissible to the same candidate.
ii) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) Conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET however the candidate who has been awarded Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standard and Procedure Regulations, 2009) shall also be exempted from the requirement of passing the NET/SLET/SET subject to the fulfillment of following conditions.
a) The Ph.D. degree of the candidate has been awarded in regular mode.
b) Evaluation of the Ph.D. thesis by at least two external examiners.
c) The candidate had published two research papers out of which at least one is published in a referred journal from out of his/her Ph.D. work.
d) The candidate had presented two papers in seminars/conferences out of his/her Ph.D. work.
e) Open Ph.D. viva voce of the candidate had been conducted.
(iii) NET/SLET/SET shall also not be required for such Master Programmes in which NET/SLET/SET is not conducted.
Age Limit: Age, experience and all other prescribed qualifications will be counted as on 30 November, 2018. The Minimum age requirement is 23 years and a maximum of 55 years.
