Job Summary:

The Mechanical Assembly Technician will assist in assembling, fitting, and testing precision instrumentation components and systems as per engineering drawings and quality standards.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Assemble mechanical parts, subassemblies, and instruments as per instructions and technical drawings.
  • Handle tools, fixtures, and measuring instruments for precision assembly.
  • Support the testing and inspection of assembled units to ensure functionality and accuracy.
  • Maintain records of assembly activities and report any defects or discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality procedures during all operations.
  • Assist in packaging and preparation of finished products for dispatch.
  • Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of the work area.

  • Basic knowledge of mechanical assembly tools and techniques
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
  • Familiarity with measuring instruments (vernier, micrometer, dial gauge, etc.)
  • Good attention to detail and quality focus
