Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for a Mechanical AutoCAD Engineer to create and modify technical drawings, blueprints, and 3D models for mechanical components and systems. The ideal candidate should have expertise in AutoCAD, mechanical design principles, and engineering standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Drafting & Designing
- Create 2D and 3D CAD models for mechanical components, assemblies, and systems.
- Modify and update existing designs and drawings as per project requirements.
- Ensure designs comply with industry standards and client specifications.
2. Technical Documentation
- Prepare detailed technical drawings, layouts, and schematics.
- Maintain proper documentation for engineering designs and revisions.
- Assist in generating BOMs (Bill of Materials) and technical specifications.
3. Collaboration & Project Coordination
- Work closely with engineers, project managers, and manufacturing teams.
- Review designs for feasibility, functionality, and manufacturability.
- Support the fabrication, assembly, and installation processes.
4. Software & Analysis
- Use AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other CAD software for design and drafting.
- Perform basic stress analysis and design validation.
- Implement engineering changes and improvements based on feedback.
