Eligible Criteria : Diploma or B. Tech in Mechanical engineering with knowledge of AutoCAD, Inventor, Solid works is must.

Concept Development and Design

Analyze project requirements, specifications, and constraints to develop initial design concepts.

Create innovative and efficient mechanical designs that meet functional requirements and optimize performance.

Develop design concepts based on engineering principles, considering factors like load, stress, heat transfer, vibrations, material selection, and manufacturing feasibility.

CAD Modeling and Drafting

Use CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, Creo) to create 3D models, assemblies, and detailed drawings.

Ensure drawings comply with engineering standards, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing), and company drafting guidelines.

Maintain and update design files, ensuring accuracy and version control.

Engineering Calculations and Analysis

Perform engineering calculations to validate design concepts, including stress analysis, tolerance analysis, thermal analysis, and fluid dynamics where applicable.

Utilize simulation tools (e.g., FEA – Finite Element Analysis, CFD – Computational Fluid Dynamics) to predict performance under different operating conditions.

Make design adjustments based on simulation results to improve performance, durability, and safety.

Material Selection and Specifications

Select appropriate materials based on mechanical properties, cost, availability, and environmental considerations.

Develop technical specifications for components and assemblies, ensuring they meet industry standards and client requirements.

Prototyping and Testing

Coordinate with manufacturing teams to produce prototypes for functional testing and evaluation.

Plan and conduct tests to validate design performance, durability, and compliance with safety standards.

Analyze test data and implement necessary design modifications to address deficiencies or improve efficiency.

Work closely with other engineering disciplines, including electrical, software, and manufacturing engineers, to ensure design integration and compatibility.
