- Product demonstration to customers.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and Development:
-
Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings of mechanical parts and assemblies using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, or Creo).

Develop new product designs or modify existing designs to improve functionality, reduce cost, or enhance manufacturability.

Ensure designs comply with industry standards, client specifications, and internal guidelines.
2. Conceptualization and Prototyping:
-
Collaborate with the product development team to brainstorm design solutions and create initial design concepts.

Assist in prototyping through 3D printing, CNC machining, or other fabrication techniques.

Evaluate prototype performance and iterate designs based on test results and feedback.
3. Engineering Analysis:
-
Perform basic calculations and simulations such as stress analysis, tolerance stack-up, thermal analysis, and motion studies.

Use tools like FEA (Finite Element Analysis) or CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) where necessary to validate designs.

Analyze mechanical failures and troubleshoot design flaws during the testing or production phases.
4. Documentation and Communication:
-
Prepare Bill of Materials (BOMs), assembly instructions, and technical documentation for manufacturing and quality teams.

Maintain design files and version control as per company documentation standards.

Present design reviews, reports, and justifications to stakeholders and clients.
5. Collaboration and Cross-Functional Support:
-
Work with manufacturing and supply chain teams to ensure designs are production-ready and cost-effective.

Support sourcing and vendor development teams by providing detailed specifications and reviewing samples.

Participate in design-for-manufacturability (DFM) and design-for-assembly (DFA) evaluations.
6. Compliance and Quality:

Ensure all designs adhere to relevant safety, regulatory, and industry standards (ISO, ASME, ANSI, etc.).

Support the quality assurance team in product inspections, root cause analysis, and corrective action planning.
