About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Prepare calculations on the proposed machine before completing technical drawings
2. Sketch and draw up designs using input from engineers and architects on the team
3. Calculate factors like tolerance, dimensions, and thermal and structural analysis
4. Create designs in line with company procedures, regulations, and client standards
5. Submit drawings to upper management and construction teams
6. Use customer feedback and data to upgrade, improve or repair the company's existing machines
7. Provide support during the building and installation process, ensuring that the machine is built properly and according to design specifications
8. Finalize designs and send prints to the production department

Other requirements
1. An undergraduate degree (B.E./B. Tech)
2. Currently in Bangalore
3. Candidate having experience of minimum 1 year with SolidWorks and AutoCAD, sheet metal designing should only apply
4. Must have strong knowledge of material selection, design standards, drafting standards, and concept generation
5. Good knowledge in GD&T, tolerance stack-up analysis, mechanical mechanisms, work planning, and prototype building
6. Able to design mechanical components for functionality using fundamentals of mechanics, machine design, and mechanism
7. Proficiency in hand calculations as a design validation exercise using fundamental principles is a must
